Bible School

Last month TCI began to film a Bible School, partnered with AFCM and ATM in Chiang Mai to record AFCM’s ITC Bible School into the Shan and Thai languages.  Despite setbacks at the beginning, the school has taken off with great success!  We have already had six anointed teachers join us, teaching up to 6 hours a day, 5 days at each ministry.

The school will undoubtedly be a great resource to both ministries in years to come, reaching both Shan and Thai people with fantastic teachings in their native language.  Pastors David and Paula have plans to take the Bible School to Shan speakers near and far, even to remote places where the Gospel is prohibited from being taught.

The students have really been enjoying the teachings as well.  At TCI’s base, we have anywhere from 4 to 11 students on a given day.  They are given extensive notes in their native language, and tested at the completion of the course.

TCI is thankful for the sacrifice of the teachers, who travel great distances and far away from family to impart their knowledge to our people!  Their willingness to come and serve God in this way will surely reap a harvest many years to come!

In addition to the Bible School, activities at the farm have continued as usual.  We have 17 children, who were blessed to receive the generous donation from VFC’s VBS program, and will get to go shopping soon!  The overall monthly support of the children’s home has increased, but still stands 85% short of our desired goal.  The homeschool and farm are also continuing smoothly, and the children’s church program at New Vision Church has grown quite a bit!  We continuously have more than 20 Buddhist children join us on Sundays, hearing the Word of God and even memorizing Scripture!
