Sustainable Agriculture Project
The TCI campus (location of church and Faith Village) is also the site of a series of ongoing self-sustainable agriculture projects. Project Genesis Farm was established in the late 90’s by Don Hanson, Michael Cooke, and David and Paula Mahawon. The land (81 Rai) is mostly flat land, irrigated by spring water on the property. With the help of many hands over the years, the land is yielding mangos, corn, papayas, and many other green vegetables such as beans, cabbage, and cucumbers. The hope is to have a sustainable farm that not only provides food for the staff and children of TCI, but also produces a surplus for sale one day. We hope it will become a model-farm for other children’s homes and ministries who wish to produce their own self-sustaining projects.
Bringing hope to every heart, vision to every life, and a smile to every face
