TCI August Update!

Thank you for your prayers and support of TCI!  This past month we have been busy with training and preparation for what’s ahead!  Coming up, we’re going to be starting up cell groups again, so our team went through a training in the Discovery Bible Method.   A few members of our staff and church are attending a live-stream Bible school from AGC Chiang Mai, which started this week.  As we learn, we want to continue being “doers of the Word, and not hearers only”, because “this man will be blessed in what he does”! (James 1:22-25). Pray for the 11 students, who are a combination of TCI staff members and New Vision Church members!

One new thing that we started last month was a worship night at our church.  The first night went really well: it was an intimate time of praising Jesus as church body.  We had another one last week.  Staff, kids, and church members were deeply touched by God’s presence.  What a blessing!

Pastor Shan took a trip to one of TCI’s church plants in Pang Ma Pha to teach on Biblical finances and to encourage the team there.  One of our staff members, Sawang, has also kept busy, traveling each month to a different Shan church that we have developed a partnership with.  He travels with a few other pastors to be a guest minister.  All are mutually blessed and encouraged by this fellowship between churches.

Looking forward, please join TCI in prayer for the following items:

1. As we train and get ready to begin cell groups, pray for the leaders to be filled with passion for the lost.  We believe God will use these cell groups to reach the multitudes!
2. Pray for the hearts of those who come to English classes on Sundays or who we engage in our community, that they would have ears to hear and RECEIVE the good news of Jesus!
3. Praise God for His faithful provision, and thank Him for his future provision for all projects we undertake!
4. Pray for continued strength, unity, and health of all TCI staff members.  Pray against attacks of the enemy on our staff or ministry.
